UN Gift Boxes at the Fringe - Can you help?

Categories: Articles:Human Rights | Published: 04/08/2015 | Views: 2377
The Scottish Churches Anti-Human Trafficking Group (SCAHTG) are working in partnership with Edinburgh Presbytery and Stop the Traffik to host UN Gift Boxes during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival from the 19th – 21st of August and are looking for volunteers to help.

Can you help to raise awareness of the scope, horror and indignity of human trafficking?   Can you give out leaflets to help others recognise the signs of trafficking?   Do you want the public to know what to do if they suspect someone has been trafficked?  If so, please spare 4 hours to volunteer on one of the UN GIFT Boxes that will be outside St Andrew’s and St George’s West church and outside the Salvation Army at the Pleasance.
