On Saturday 4th April, this conference will pose the question: "Why would we in Scotland want or need to have nuclear power stations when we have almost unlimited potential for clean, renewable energy production?" Consequently Beyond Nuclear will be a day of two halves, with an examination of the downside of nuclear power in the morning and the potential for renewables in the afternoon.
