Throughout 2018, a small steering group has been working to establish Pax Christi Scotland, a project launched at the Pax Christi meeting in Glasgow in the early part of the year.
Pax Christi Scotland will (on the advice of Pat Gaffney) operate first of all under the wing of Justice and Peace Scotland in order to gain the necessary status to be recognised as an autonomous organisation in the international Pax Christi network.
The first Pax Christi Scotland event, a sort of declaration of intent, takes place from November 23-25 at Conforti in Coatbridge, hosted and funded by the Xaverian Missionaries. If you would like to participate, please contact Anna at Conforti (anna@confortiinstitute.org ) to book. Registration will be from 5pm on the Friday and all meals from Friday supper to Sunday lunch are included. We will share in study workshops, prayer and the Eucharist. You are welcome to come as residents or day attendants.
We hope you will share the flier (
a jpg version is also attached if you would like to share on your social media network) so that we reach all who may wish to attend, and look forward to sharing the Peace of Christ with you.
